Lily is interning with Swanee Hunt Alternatives, a non-profit run by the former U.S. Ambassador to Austria. The organization have three main initiatives: Inclusive Security, Demand Abolition and Prime Movers.
Inclusive Security advocates for full inclusion of all stakeholders, particularly women, in peace and security processes by consulting with governments and conducting field research. Demand Abolition combats the purchase of prostituted children and adults in the United States by focusing on the effectiveness of demand focused legislation. Prime Movers is a campaign that supports entrepreneurial leaders of diverse American social movements.
As an intern, Lily does a lot from in depth legislation research projects and data examination to project planning and relationship management.
