Our Second-Year Global Scholars, Class of 2021, are in the final stretch of completing their Advanced International Studies research. Today, we are highlighting the original research of Kate Jasenski '21:
For her research, Kate is studying how intercountry adoption is leveraged politically and economically between sending and receiving states. Specifically, she investigates how individual and state rights and responsibilities are balanced and protected in international law. She conducts a large-N analysis of the world’s top 20 receiving countries.
We cannot wait to learn about your findings in the fall!
